I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this.  I wonder how many of those 42 represntatives are in favour of metrication.  I bet if they had their way they would pass a resolution to outlaw metric as anti-American.

Utah House Passes Anti-UN Resolution

Since you obviously think so little of Americans, why do you give a damn whether or not we are in the U.N.???

As a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, the only problem I have with the Utah resolution is that they didn't resolve to kick this ineffective, wasteful and corrupt cesspool of an organization out of the country all together.

And it is only in your mind that the UN and metrication are connected -- I happen to know several Utah legislators, and, while I cannot say I have explicitly discussed the issue with any of them, I certainly would be surprised if any of them had a problem with metrication.

Other than forced metrication, which, I will assume, is the only kind Chimps are Cute can understand.
