The CNN International weather reports are showing wind speeds in "kph," rather than the correct "km/h."
I used their feedback form to let them know. My message to them follows: ----------------------------------------------------- On the weather reports, you are showing incorrect units for wind speed. Specifically, you are using kph, rather than the correct km/h, for kilometers per hour. Everyone is, or should be, familiar with the correct SI (metric) symbol, km/h. It's printed on the only speedometer scale on vehicles everywhere but in Britain and the U.S., and on the inner speedometer scale in those two countries. If kph were a valid symbol, it would mean "kilopicohours" -- an impossible unit.
