I think this person is a candidate for Pat Naughton's page on what not to use if you hate metric.
 
I also think this person might be upset not because of kilometres at the Paris Marathon, but the non-existence of miles, which drives home the point the world is metric.  I'm sure in the past FFU-ists were pampered with conversions.  The fact that fewer and fewer people don't understand metric means they can save time and money by not catering to those who refuse to modernise.  So, now that the burden of conversion falls on the luddites, and they are getting upset.

This article just appeared on the on-line news.  It has to do with GPS units being sold to runners, and how well they work or don't work.  It is a somewhat long article, and takes stupid jabs at the metric system used in the Paris Marathon.  It might be nice if some messages were sent to the writer (his e-mail is listed at the end) to straighten him out.
