I'm not happy that Bush won either, but I think he falls far,
far short of possibly being the Anti-Christ (if there even *is* such a
being--I'm skeptical on such matters) or even paving the way for the
Anti-Christ.
We survived the Civil War, which was far worse, and we'll
survive the Bush years as well. His continued presence may actually help
our cause by emboldening the now-stronger EU (Congratulations on your new
constitution!) to resist "that cowboy in the White House." Sticking to the
2010 labeling deadline is an ideal non-violent way for the EU to resist
Bush. We shall see... -- Jason

Subject: [USMA:31400] Catastrophe
Despite the fact that there has been no major developments in terms of
challenges to the US election results, we, from outside the US, cannot shake
our utter disappointment in the US electorate's choice.
What does this have to do with metrication one would probably jump at
right away? Simple, it goes to attitude and values! If in the
beginning I could still find solace in believing that the US prime leader
was NOT a reflection of how its people are, what can I possibly argue
now?...
My only consolation is that this is another very clear demonstration that
we're definitely living in the last days of the history of this planet as we
know it. So... I can only hope that it will end quickly.
Alas! Ora, venha Senhor Jesus!
