I'm still in Brazil and yesterday they brought O Globo in and I flipped through it and found a page listing oil prices or production in "barris". (Portuguese nouns ending in "l" drop it when forming the plural.)
Someone invented a motorcycle-like device using compressed air (I think it was reported in Estado de Minas). The air pressure was stated in kilograms per square centimeter, not pascals or any other proper pressure unit. phma
