Well, I just read an article on the international
version of the BBC News web site, and this time the units used were Imperial
with metric in parentheses (that is, feet followed by meters).
It doesn't seem that they have a fixed editorial
policy at all on that site, which strikes me as kind of odd.
Ah well, at least they haven't reverted to Imperial
