Just out of interest I notice that Pyrex are selling some dishes with plastic lids without any guidance as to the heat resistance. A couple people asked about it on their forum and were told they cannot be used in an oven, even though the rather sketchy FAQ page could be taken to mean otherwise. Phil Hall
