I have been a staunch advocate for Descending Date Writing since its inception in 1975, being also a part via Bureau of Indian Standards. This can also be observed as my date writing with every message that I send.
Today's date: July 31 - I propose to be dropped OFF the current calendar and inserted as February 29th to modify the Gregorian Calendar and use it with or without Leap weeks (using my 7*128=896-yrs/159 LWks plan (div. six(6) or modify the Gregorian div.4/skip100th/insert 400th year LEAP DAYS insertion to *div.4/skip 128th-years* and get Mean Year =365.2421875 d.

I find that extremely odd. Every single watch I've ever bought has the water resistence marked off in meters. But then again I've never bought Armitron. I've owned Timex Fossil and various five dollar Wal Mart watches and they've all had it marked in meters.
