Mike says the NAM supports amending the FPLA, but as I read it they
only promise they will NOT OPPOSE amending it. That's a big difference.
It means it leaves us (metric supporters) still in the position of
having to persuade our Congress to do ANYTHING AT ALL. It would be
the logical thing to do but when is the last time you heard of the US
Congress doing anything just because it was logical?
