Most people, myself included, just fill it up.
I am consistently getting about 50 mpg (the only way the on board
computer will show it). That is equivalent to 4.7 L/100 km .
I'm sure many of you know the following but some who do not may find
it convenient:
if fuel consumption is known in miles per gallon (call it "C" for
"consumption") and
one desires fuel economy in litres per 100 kilometres (call it "E"
for "economy") then
C = 235/E
It is also true that, conversely,
E = 235/C
