Dear Ezra and Pat,
We appreciate your comments on our metric web page. In reality we
haven’t updated the content of this page in years, only the NASA
Official. We realize the information is terribly out of date and
we’re working with another education group to update the
information. Until then we will remove and/or minimize the
erroneous information or the entire page.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or John Kusterer regarding any
questions you may have.
Best Regards,
Nancy Ritchey

Dear Nancy Ritchey,
Thanks for your advice about the NASA web page.
Please let me know if I can be of any assistance with improving the
metric information provided by NASA.
When I visited the NASA JPL facility in August this year I formed the
view that NASA's upgrade to the full use of the metric system in all
of its systems is inevitable. The main decision that NASA has to make
is how fast they want this inevitable upgrade done. The speed is
about the process chosen for the upgrade rather than the content of
the metric system itself.
Cheers,
