I have tried to give a balanced view of my attempts at:
http://www.brijvij.com/bbv_vip-brief.pdf and other calendar data at my home
page: http://www.brijvij.com/. My interpretations of Harappan Lunar-Tithi
Calendar 'http://www.brijvij.com/bbv_Lnr-Tithi_HarrCal..pdf' and that of Indus
Length Unit http://www.brijvij.com/indusEvidence.doc , which being TWICE the
METRE length used today are revelations needing 'investigative probe'.

In that case, discussions about calendar reform amount to a Giant
Irrelevancy, and one might as well be talking about which Star Trek series
featured thenicest uniforms, or which genus of flower is "prettier." Such
discussions, while somewhat entertaining perhaps, could be endless. And they
arepointless.Of course, if we don't know WHAT the concept is, it cannot be
discussed atall. If a designer can't, or won't, describe his or her calendar
concept inbasic terms for either scientists or laymen (i.e. how many months
does ithave, how many days are in each month, when do the leap years occur, and
whyis it worth swtiching from the Gregorian we all grew up with) and is
notprepared to *ever* give easily understood answers to these questions to
bothlaymen *and* scientists, then discussion of a reform idea is
interesting, but again, ultimately pointless.Personally, I have no patience for
would-be calendar designers of that sort, nor for discussions of ludicrious
calendar reforms that overreach commonsense or practicality.>
Mikhail P. says:
The World Dual Calendar 2008 is brought to Russian market and it is adopted and
used
by others, then this becomes a .WHY?. question.
WHY you don.t publish the given calendar in your village?
