There is nothing anti-metric about this ad.  I'd look at it as being just
the opposite.  It's Will Ferrell playing once again one of his dimwitted
characters, and here we have him quoting probably medical literature in
metric.  The audience is supposed to "get it" when he does the crazy
conversion of 6 liters being 300 gallons.  Based on all the half-liter and 2
liter bottles that people come across every day, they really will get this.
A subtle sign of success, perhaps.
