In the part of Florida where I live we had several
nights when the temperature dropped below 0 °C.
The all time record low temperature was -14 °C.
It may not happen often but we Floridians are not unfamiliar with
negative numbers for Celsius temperature (especially since most of us
were born closer to the Canadian border, like I was).
