in this discussion.
Rather than "get better mpg," let's say something like, use less gas (or

The point of getting a hybrid is that they get more mpg for the need
vehicles fulfill. Everyone doesn't need the same kind of vehicle.
So the total mpg is not the key. It's the INCREASE in mpg which is the
determining factor (among others) in buying a hybrid vehicle.
