We had a program at church in which we presented the countries we're from. The
last such program, which was two or three years ago before the church split,
I gave the area of the USA as about nine square megameters (eight for the
lower 48 and one for Alaska), one square megameter being about the size of
Colombia, and described the geography. This time, a Mexican showed a slide
which said "2 millones de Kms". I caught the guy afterward and pointed out
that the earth is only 40000 km around, so that has to be 2000 km, or 2 Mm.
