Actually, I think it's all the more important to do this now because, for the first time since I got into this, the silence is _not_ deafening. When was the last time metrication made the front page of USA Today? When was the last time you saw it popping up as a topic regularly in forums all over the internet in terms of "can we do this now?" rather than "there are some people over there trying to make this happen"?
