Actually, I think it's all the more important to do this now because,
for the first time since I got into this, the silence is _not_
deafening.

When was the last time metrication made the front page of USA Today?
When was the last time you saw it popping up as a topic regularly in
forums all over the internet in terms of "can we do this now?" rather
than "there are some people over there trying to make this happen"?

Really, there's movement and we need to do all we can to increase the
momentum while we've got it.
