In its report on the Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro, AutoWeekend (January 16
Washington Times) used the SI as the primary units with traditional units in
parentheses:

The "engine churns out 386 kW (525 hp) and 530 Nm (390.91 lb-ft) of torque" at
6,500 rpm. Its "displacement is 5,204 cc." "Its power tops out at 386 kW
(525 hp)."

A revolution to electrify vehicles - cars, buses, scooters, etc. is under way.
Also, the SI is now being used in stores for light bulbs, electrical fixtures
and appliances.

This is a great learning and familiarization experience. Wouldn't it be great
to have all reports use the SI as the primary unit of measurement?

This is an opportunity to expand the use of the International System of Units
(SI).
