CATS, the bus system here, uses the 12-hour clock. I asked them to use 24-hour; they ignored me. They also ignored my request to use international date format and to indicate the height limit of free-fare children in metric. A couple of years ago I went to the local Amtrak station to get a ticket. I said I had to be at the destination by 18 on a certain day. The only person there who understood that was an ex-military guy. I went to Greyhound and took a bus, because the train cost too much. Pierre
