Hi Pat:
An interesting note is that no one can be confused by the three different
date formats used around the world for the specific dates you show.

Dear All,
On this most interesting date in the calendar, now might be the time to
reflect on metrication activities for a year and a month hence, when the date
will be 10-10-10.
This might make an auspicious date for planned metrication activities.
Starting now might give enough time to organise major-scale events.
USMA member, Sally Mitchell has previously suggested this date for the
completion of metrication in the USA.
Cheers,
Pat Naughtin
