Here is one of the response that I received while emailing all the American TV
Chefs. And is particular funny is because Ciao Italia does tours to Italy and
has cooking classes there.

Id put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we
dont have to wait til oil and coal run out before we tackle that. I wish I had
a few more years left. -- Thomas Edison♽☯♑

Dear Bruce:
Sorry, that's probably not going to happen any time soon. I do have a
conversion chart taped to my monitor and another in the kitchen, but most of
our viewers will not relinquish their non-metric measures! At least now that
most measuring cups and scales are marked with both values, the younger
generation will be more easily converted. But us more mature cooks are stuck in
the past century's rut.
We appreciate your input and hope that you continue to enjoy the show and try
our recipes!
Buon Appetito!

You have a new form submission

        Website: Ciao Italia

        On page: Contact Us

        First Name: Bruce
        Last Name: Arkwright, Jr.
        Email Address: [email protected]
Your Comment: Enjoy your shows and recipes, but please can you use
Metric units in the recipes and cookbooks. It is easy keep your cups and spoons
but use Metric cup of 250 mL, use 500 g instead of one pound, and 31.25 g or mL
instead of dry and fluid ounces. Just like on this instructable....
www.instructables.com/id/Metrication-of-Recipes-Simplified /
I do not use American Imperial units, they are sooo antiquated, so nineteen
century.
