That depends on the law, and I don't know where to find Australian law.  The
dimensions on the rubber bands and ropes might be legal if they are considered
descriptors and the net contents are specified by count (275 rubber bands, 3
ropes),  However, the rubber bands are sold by mass, with approx. count.  That
would even be illegal under US law (maybe).  They appear to be consumables used
outside the home so under the UPLR.  As a pre-packaged product sold by standard
mass, they need to be dual or metric-only.

I didn't check everything, but everything I checked on the site appears to be
inches, feet, and pounds.  The altimeter is feet only.  Apparently sky-diving
is
a foot-pound sport in Australia.  Perhaps Pat can turn them in for a reward.

Also, "descriptor" dimensions are a bit of red herring.  It may be a loophole
in
the labeling laws, and price is not linearly proportional to dimension, but a
6"
sub costs less than a 12" sub, and 24" TV costs less than a 42" TV.  Who are
they kidding?  The exemption might make sense for fasteners and pipes, which
don't fit together if they don't match, but not in most cases.

So I guess that web site is in blatant volition  of the law, that’s
unfortunate.

Dear Howard,

As I understand it, it is illegal to trade using old pre-metric measuring words.

Cheers,
