The BBC this morning carried an article on a private rocket launcher by SpaceX,
based in California. The article, at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-12975872 , is metric with
colonial units in parentheses, including dimensions, and thrust (correctly
specified in meganewtons). The only non-metric unit was a reference to the
cost of putting 'one pound' of payload into orbit.

I would be really interested in knowing whether SpaceX works in metric, and the
BBC added the non-metric units - or vice versa. Does anyone who might have a
connection with SpaceX know?
