It looks like the strap puts the handle around 30 cm higher than the original strap on your luggage and you have to use a two-handed lift so you can see the read-out in the top of the handle. I suppose it is useful if you buy a lot of stuff while traveling. I weigh my bag at home on a regular scale before I depart and use common sense while traveling.
