Reading a magazine (I think it was Mother Earth News) I noticed that they rated
the Grasshopper mower the best mower. Checking out their website I enquired
about whether design and bolts etc were metric, this is the reply I got.

Terrible to see a US manufacturer still stuck in the past. I would be about
impossible to fix this equipment outside the USA. I will not be buying one, if
it had been metric like John Deere I probably would have bought one.
