Brian. I intentionally omitted leading zeros for graphic demonstration. You are correct, Brian, about my little graphic being mathematically faulty for omitting zeros on leading decimals, and I appreciate you correctly pointing that fact out. I feel that including those zeros would destract from the symmetry of this demonstration.
