Is there any other way to downgrade the UHD image?

Kind Regards,

*Mahesh Jena*
The above simply installed the FPGA images onto your *local* host, which will have no effect on the E312.

I'm talking about the UHD software package on your host machine must match what you have on the E312.

Perhaps you mis-understand what the E312 is? It has a built-in Linux host. The intended mode of operation is to run software *on the E312 itself*, and so-called "network mode" allows you to use the E312 like any other network-connected USRP (like an N210, etc), but at *much* lower bandwidth. We don't recommend network mode for anything other than
  initial check-out.

Perhaps this would be useful?

    Hi Marcus,
    Appreciate your response!

When I use my Linux PC as host, it also has the same issue, so I
tried to implement your suggestion in both MAC and the linux pc.
In both the cases, when I tried to downgrade the UHD image, it
    says Checksum failure :

    /shashi@shashi-All-Series
    /usr/share/gnuradio/examples/digital/ofdm $ sudo
    /usr/lib/uhd/utils/uhd_images_downloader.py -f
    "uhd-images_003.009.002-release.zip"/
    /Images destination: /usr/share/uhd/images/
    /Downloading images from:
    http://files.ettus.com/binaries/images/uhd-images_003.009.002-release.zip

    /Downloading images to:
     /tmp/tmpLtTlfs/uhd-images_003.009.002-release.zip/
    /26296 kB / 26296 kB (100%)/
/*Checksum of downloaded file is not correct (not installing - see
    options to override)*/
    /Expected: 8e6e5edab697fa7e3c63c612ba6f79f5/
    /Calculated: 37081e1e73004bd9e74d7e5b6293fd39/
    /Please try downloading again./
/If the problem persists, please email the output to:
    supp...@ettus.com <mailto:supp...@ettus.com>/
    /shashi@shashi-All-Series
    /usr/share/gnuradio/examples/digital/ofdm $ /

Do you think its expected behavior since the gnuradio version
could be not compatible with this downgraded one?

    Kind Regards,

This looks like you're using Network Mode with your E312 from
a Mac. The version of UHD on your host machine and E3xx MUST
        be the same when
          using network mode.

If you are going to use network mode with your E3xx (with the
proviso that network mode is useful only for check-out and
        low-bandwidth testing), then
downgrade the version of UHD on your Mac to match that on
        the E312.
