You build and install UHD host, then, as you observe, run
uhd_images_downloader to get the FPGA code.
On MASTER they bumped the FPGA version compat numbers.
Using "uhd_images_downloader" should always yield a matching FPGA
image. Don't forget you have to power-cycle the
device, typically, after changing the FPGA image. You didn't mention
what type of device?
