Yeah, that would probably work. Or maybe the mouse icon with the warning emblem over it? I dunno, whichever works better. :) > I think you are right about this. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want indication of this, and it's unobtrusive, so my opinion is to hardcode it. > Okay, and add an extra lines to have the extra stuff like so: > > System is running on UPS power > Battery charged (100%) > Logitech MX-1000 Mouse (72%) > > This is more compact. Thanks. Yeah, this works. > Lol, sorry, this was a quick mockup. The text wasn't really thought > about. Which lightbulbs are needed? Should anything be explained? I don't really think any of them are needed. The only one I'd consider is the UPS one, but I guess if you own a UPS you probably already know what it does, making it unncessary. :) Looking at it a little more closely, though, there's a little confusion in my mind about the Power Modes/Setting dropdown there. It seems to imply that it's a setting, but really it's just selects a configuration group. Maybe get rid of the "Setting" label and change the wording of the option menu to "While on battery power"?
