I believe that Mark already answered that question.  There is a 2.6.29 patch
available:

 

Patch series can be found here: http://userweb.kernel.org/~frob/utrace/

 

You should ensure that the x.y.z.6 revisions did not change any relevant
code or simply build a kernel that has a matching patch set.
