from the Mozilla online help:

A broken lock means that some or all of the elements within the page were not protected by encryption when the page was received, even though the outermost HTML page was encrypted.

So I installed a secure cert on a domain (example.com) and when I go to
https://www.example.com Mozilla displays a closed lock icon on the bottom
window frame with a red line through it.

I click on the icon it pops up a window which says "Web Site Identity
Verified" and "Connection Encryped: High-grade Encryption (RC4 128 bit)"

My question, Since the cert was verified and encrypted, why the red line
through the lock icon?

ideas?

TIA

Ryan
