It's like pong, only it's 3D, and you have a laser beam you can use to blast your opponent's paddle. Play against a super-advanced AI player, or have another client log into the pongserver for hours of action-packed two-player fun!
glBattlePong version 0.3 is ready for download from its SourceForge project page: http://glbattlepong.sourceforge.net/ This is the product of a little over two weeks of work by Dave and myself. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but it's kind of fun. This was for a CS455 project, which we have passed off already, and so we probably won't be making any major changes to it until after finals (you know how it goes :-). We've got a guy from the HFAC working on some nifty graphics to spruce things up a bit. Features: - networked multiplayer capability - 3D using OpenGL and glut - sound via SDL - doesn't crash (as far as we know) Download it! Play it! Patch it! Yeah!
