I'm guessing the default one for Mandrake 9.1...... Mandrake Control Center --> Hardware --> Display Manager Chooser Choose from the default Mandrake (MdkKDM, I agree, it's ugly), KDM, GDM, and XDM. I use KDM and GDM mostly. GDM is actually the only thing I like about Gnome. When you change it, it doesn't take effect when you restart X for some reason. Although, there have been updates for drakconf since I played with it last. Maybe they fixed that. Or something else needs to be done before it will work. Rebooting works.... ;) I've read there is just some config file somewhere that that you just specify KDM, GDM, or whatever in, but I forgot was it is.
