UUG:

This has been the coolest two years. In about September of 2001, someone handed me a RedHat 6.2 disk. Shortly thereafter I joined the UUG. Since then, I've used Gentoo, Debian, Mandrake, and YellowDog. Wow. I have learned more from this group than from any other source. Thanks for all your answers to my questions. Thanks for your friendship.

I've taken a new job and today is my last day of class at BYU. As such, I need to free up time for other things, and I'll unfortunately have to unsubscribe from the list. It has been great. I appreciate your friendship and will continue to check in periodically (and hopefully make it to some meetings).

This group has amazing potential. You will shape the destiny of IT in America and the world. There is no question about that. I consider it a great privelege to have been part of it.

Sincerely yours,
Dave Smith
