I've only done this twice, once with a single Matrox G450 with dual outs and once with two NVidia cards. I remember both times during installation it asked me at one point if I wanted to "configure both head independantly", or if I wanted to "use Xinerama". I was then able to choose Xinerama and it just did it. I remember with the Matrox that I later downloaded Matrox's Linux configuration tool (mgapdesk, I think) and it made it even easier to tweak display settings...Sorry I'm not much more help. You did have both monitors connected and turned on, right? Man, I wish I still had Mandrake installed so I could try some of this out instead of going straight from memory... Bryan P.S. Thanks to the flexibility of Linux, even with Mandrake you can go and tweak your XF86Config file by hand still if you like :) ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
