Bob,

ok, I'll bite.

"I have better things to do with my time than stage infantile protests just to
gain attention and seek out the fame associated with it. No matter how you try
to justify this thing, that is the only reason you are doing it."

Whoa, Trigger! That's a pretty broad statement. If I may speak, I'm protesting
for a number of reasons:
1 - I think that SCO is severely messed up
2 - Perhaps if SCO sees some local people protesting, SCO might understand that
maybe they are not making good decisions. After all, protests are RARE in Utah
County.
3 - I happen to have Friday off, and I'm looking forward to spending quality
time chatting with UUG'ers.
4 - I need to get some sun. I work 11 hour days, leaving before the sun comes up
and coming back as it is going down. I'm neon white. Give me a break, conspiracy
boy.

Strange, "fame and glory" didn't make the list. Perhaps I'm an statistical
outlier? You decide. No wait. Probably better let someone else decide.

"It will not change anything in the case. It will not hurt SCO. It is only being
done to gain recognition."

um, ok. So if you're correct we ought to stay inside and just hope that things
will resolve themselves. That's good, Ghandi. Lets all hold hands and wish for a
better world. Kumbaya.

As for me, I am reminded of the epic words of Thomas Paine. In the dawning of
our nation, back in 1778, that patriot boldly fought for those ideals he held
most dear. In his famous essay, "The Crisis", he warned about false patriots who
fail to uphold liberty during turbulent trials, "These are the times that try
men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis,
shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands now, deserves the
love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered;
yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more
glorious the triumph."

Let us go onward to battle my friends!

> I'm sad to see how far down the list has gone. But as Despair, Inc. put it so well:

Perhaps they should also make a clever image for apathy, fear and weakness.
