I am looking for a command-line program that will extract the text from a pdf file. It can either be a linux program compilable under cygwin, or a native windows app. Does anybody know of such a beast?
Adobe's acrobat reader does that. At least, the UNIX version does. xpdf also has a commandline option for it.
