I just setup WEP on my WAP at home and I set up the config in gentoo to
use the right config file to use the keys and stuff. The problem is
that now I cannot connect on campus unless I edit the config file and
restart the daemon. I am running gentoo 1.4 (as if the version
matters), with a linksys prism card. I am using linux-wlan-ng and the
config files in question are /etc/conf.d/wlan.conf and
/etc/conf.d/wlan-DEFAULT, and /etc/conf.d/wlan-<mywap_ssid>. I would
like to be able to plugin in anywhere and use the right settings
based on the WAP SSID found. Anyone know how to work such voodoo magic?
