There's at least one copy of the xless source at http://packages.debian.org/unstable/text/xless.html
I suspect there are several others floating around, too. I don't know of any other program that does the same thing, although, as you say, it couldn't be too hard to write one in C++/QT. :) -----Original Message----- From: Soren Harward [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, July 25, 2003 10:50 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [uug] xless replacement? I need a simple X program that can take text input from STDIN and show it in a scrollable window. xless fits the bill, but I can't find the source for it anywhere (and it's ugly anyway). gmas apparently does this as well, but I can't get it to compile. Any other suggestions? I may just end up writing one in gtk-python. It couldn't't be more than 20 lines of code.... -- Soren Harward [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
