My parents have Vonage at home so I have had some experience with it.   
I like it, and so do they.  They've had it for a few months and have  
since cancelled their landline.  I posted comments about it [1] at Phil  
Windley's weblog entry on Vonage [2].

I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about it.
