The US Government is and always has been Microsoft's largest customer.
Just recently the DoHS announced a huge contract with Microsoft to
provide all the software for their office workstations. It is therefore
somewhat ironic that the DoHS yesterday released a security warning
regarding Microsoft OS's. Many government agencies use Linux, such as
Nasa, the Dept of Defence, and the DOE. Parts of the military use Linux
for some things, but by and large, it's a Microsoft world. Bill Gates
needn't run for president; he already controls the country, quite
literally. I guess the only reason the government people sleep at night
with this kind of insecurity rampant throughout the government is to
know that the enemy also runs MS Windows and is just as insecure.

I once had a dream that the Gov't switched completely over to linux, but
then I woke up back in the cold, harsh reality.
