Somehow my 3 year-old son managed to leave 13 tuxpaint processes running
(with no windows for any of them visible) and I couldn't kill them
without rebooting. Shouldn't kill -9 kill a process no matter what? I
know on HP-UX at work it does. It was pretty sad to see that a 3
year-old was able to bring my Linux box to it's knees by randomly
clicking around with the mouse and the only solution was the alt-sysrq
magic keys. Don't anyone tell Bill Gates I just said that.
