The only problem I have with some of these cheaper CD-R media is that
they degrade pretty quickly.  I burned a ton of CD's on CompUSA media
before my mission, stored them in a dark, temperature-controlled
environment, and every one of them had gone bad by the time I got home.
On the other hand, I have Sony media I burned 5 years ago that's still
good.  If you need the data for more than a few months, invest in decent
CD-R's.
