Well, it looks like all I had to do was in my gnome-terminal right
click->Edit current profile... and then go to the Title and Command tab
and select Run command as a login shell to get everything sourced.  I
must have had that and then about the time I installed ksh I accidently
unselected it.  Weird.  Just when I thought I had all that shell,
/etc/profile, .profile, .kshrc stuff all figured out...
