Demudi is the one Art was recommending, although I haven't used it. You couldn't make me use rosegarden for that (even the new one) without a pistol to my head. I have used mup in the past and been very pleased (warning, not free - but about $10 shareware and quite a good program). Lilypond is another one to look at.
