Today's issue of the UUG mailing list targeted hotmail users in an effort to persuade them to run their own mail servers on the GNU/Linux operating system rather than use webmail on a Microsoft server. The Centralized Denial-of-Service attack was coordinated by the group's older and more vocal members and ranged in topic from beards and beer to Slobodan and Klaatu. All your INBOXs are belong to us.

There's a lower volume, more friendly mailing list you can subscribe to at <http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/newbies>.

You can unsubscribe from this list at <http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list>. (Down toward the bottom of that page.) We don't mind if you leave, unless it infringes on our right to make you stay.

:P

PS: This kind of thing really doesn't happen that often, and I'm sure Phil's long forgotten question will be answered somehow, as will yours, though you may need to ask again.

PPS: This has been a <CTRL>+<A> <DEL> day. (Or <META>+<FOO>+<BAR>+<WHATZIT>+<BANG> <META>+<WHIZ>+<QUACK> if you read you mail in ee-max ;)
