All,
I would like to download the SUSE 8.2 disto from mirrors.usc.edu. I'm stuck with a phone modem at home, so I would like to do it here at work. There is no company policy against this, and I'd like to keep it that way. So I would like to do this in the nicest way possible.
We have world wide offices that use our servers 24/7, so simply setting a cron job at 2AM doesn't really help. What I really need is a way to limit the bandwidth of the FTP client locally. Any ideas? The simpler the better.
