Can someone help me with the syntax of a FOR command in the tsch shell

DOS to execute the same command on every file in a directory, like this:

Mac OS X has switched to Bash with 10.3

You can also use Bash in other versions of OS X, it just isn't the default. At the prompt type:
bash
and you will be dropped into a bash shell. Create a .bashrc file and a .bash_profile and you can get your correct prompt and things back.
