The reason why I said that we may not live long enough to see a
``3.0'' Linux kernel was because it looks like we could stay in the
``2.x'' domain indefinitely.  Linus will not change the version
numbering to 3.x until they make a major change that breaks backwards
compatibility, and I just don't see that happening anytime soon.

I have made no comment about the current SCO vs. IBM court case.  Do
not ever assume that any comments I make refer to it.
