I haven't watched those as much as I did The Tick back in the day, but
my impression was that they just weren't as inspiring to me as The Tick
was.  I think I liked that it was a parody of all other comic books
stories, the educational lessons (like the brief history of asprin
Arthur gave one episode), as well as The Tick's inspiring speeches on
good vs. evil at the end of every episode.
